Secret Code is a game for two to eight players, where intrigue, espionage and secret clues are mixed. Put yourself in the shoes of a spy and discover the identities of your teammates! This extremely competitive game requires collaboration between the members of each team to achieve victory together. The Secret Code was launched in 2015, designed by the prestigious Vlaada Chvátil (Galaxy Trucker, Through the Ages or Mage Knight). Allows games for 2 to 8 players, with a suggested minimum age of 14 years old and a duration of approximately 15 minutes.

Players are divided into two teams, trying to balance skills and numbers. A normal game requires at least four players (2 teams of 2 people), although there are variants for two or three players. Each team must choose a player to be the head of the spy network. The two spy chiefs will sit on the same side of the table, and will be able to see the arrangement of all the secret spies and the assassin). The rest of the players sit in front of their bosses and act as Field Agents. Between them, 25 cards with a printed word are spread out, forming a 5x5 square.

The spy bosses will alternate providing single-word clues. A clue may relate to several of the words on the table. Bosses will have to call out a number, which will tell their teammates how many code names are related to that clue. Field agents will try to guess what word or words your boss is referring to. When an agent taps a word, the spy boss will reveal his secret identity. If it's one of your agents, they can keep guessing until they run out of ideas for the clue they were given or until they point to a person who isn't part of their team; If they fail or stop, it's the opposing team's turn. The first team to contact all of its agents wins the game. But be careful! If they reveal the killer's card, the game ends immediately, with the team that reveals it losing the game.

Spy Masters must not show any emotion, and simply say the clue and number. The game has one final element: the hourglass. At any time, a player can activate the hourglass when they feel that the boss's spy team is taking too long to do their investigation. This makes the game much more dynamic!
